Job Description

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Operations team as Finance Summer Intern. Primary responsibilities include:

• Compile daily reports for management

• Participate in month end closing

• Perform ad-hoc analysis

• Support annual audit

• Lead a cost or productivity project

• Support compliance efforts

The 2026 Summer Internship Program consists of 14-20 weeks of structured hands-on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, fun networking events to connect with fellow interns, and projects selected to add direct value to the business. At the conclusion of the program, each intern will present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors. An internship at Howmet Aerospace will provide an invaluable experience that you can utilize in any role, and it's Howmet's goal to evaluate our interns for potential entry-level openings.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Finance or Accounting related Bachelor's degree program from an accredited institution.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Strong Excel skills

• Self-starter

Salary Range: $22-$23 /hour depending on experience

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
